I recently purchased a 1996 Camaro Z28 with the LT1 engine. According to the Hanes manual, the car should take 5 quarts of 5w-30 oil, however, after fully draining the system and changing the oil filter, the car only took 4 quarts. Any idea why this is?

I have a hypertech stage 3 chip in my '86 TA, I also have the 160 degree thermostat and the cold fan switch the fan turns on at 177 off at 166 as recomended by hypertech. Ever since I did these mods the has never indicated any temperature at all it just stayed below 100 all the time ...

I have taken on the task of re-conditioning a '73 Firebird. I am replacing all weather stripping. I just ordered a complete weather stripping kit from Classic Industries. However, the kit does not include the hood-to-cowl seal. Their catalog does not list the piece.
