I've been having a problem for a couple of years with my '85 F-bird engine code "s", i.e. 2.8l, where it will stall within 10 seconds of starting,transmission not engaged yet, for the 1st time in the morning. Seems to only happen if the car has been sitting for a while, i.e.

Can anyone tell me if there are different size brake drums for the second gen T/A. I bought a set of rear brake shoes for my 79 Firebird T/A only to find that the parts sent were smaller than the old shoes. The drums on my car are about 11.5 inches in dia.

I have a 1995 V6, its got ODB I but the ODB II connector. No (ODB II) scan tool so far has been able to read the codes. I've tried shorting out one or two combinations of pins but cant get my SES light to flash.

Hey bud, I've got a 455 cub in my 73/80 hybrid, and my dad had exactly your situation, he bought a numbers matching 68 but it had a sickly striaght 6 in it. We ripped the 6 out and put an old pontiac 400 from god-gnows-where in, and with no sort of high-priced equipment we toast

Does anyone know how I can fix the following problem; my gas guage (on instrument panel) is always on empty regardless on amount of gasoline in the tank. It wont move or register the change in gallons the tank has. How do I fix this problem. This is for a 1969 Camaro SS. Thanks
