WTB- 68 GTO heater cables31 Mar 2004 21:26 GMT9
I need a set of new or good used heater cables for my NON-AC 68 GTO.
They are different for AC equipped cars, and 68 cables are unique to that
year only.
I will pay cash or have GTO parts to trade.

Love the car...but it is showing its age, 163,000 miles.  Can I get some help?

A little background to my scenario. My darling wife called me yesterday and
said that she had locked the keys in the trunk after the car doors were
already locked. "Not to worry" I said, "we'll just get the local Automobile
Association to come and unlock it." I arrived at the scene ...

Instrument cluster exchange29 Mar 2004 06:15 GMT10
'92 Grand Am SE with 2.3 L Quad Four
My service manual has some wording implying that the dealer has an exchange
program for the instrument cluster.  My assumption is that you take in your
old one and exchange it for a repaired one.  Is that correct?  If so what is

Not sure if anyone has asked this or not, but I'm new to the list, I was
just wondering if there was a quick way to keep the driving lights off.

CV boot/driveshaft28 Mar 2004 14:40 GMT9
I had my tire rotate few days ago on my 94 Bonneville.  The shop told me
that I need to get CV boot repair or replace the drive shaft.  Is this
something I can do it myself? I have removed the front brake caliper before

help? 1989 steering collumn28 Mar 2004 03:25 GMT4
My daughter drives a 89 Bonneville and I noticed the last time she came
home from school that her steering wheel was really floppy feeling. I
assumed that it was the steering wheel tilt and let it go at that time,
since the steering seemed to be tight.
CV boot/driveshaft-update28 Mar 2004 00:39 GMT1

challenge was separating the lower control arm.  Pulling the lower arm apart
by yourself when the car is on jack stand is exactly an ideal way to work
due to clearance.  However, with a chain; iron bar and ...
