2004 GTO "Out-the-Door" Sale Prices? 27 Mar 2004 22:50 GMT34
I visited my local Pontiac dealer today to talk about the purchase of the 1 GTO
that they are due to receive in mid-February. They want $2500 above the MSRP. I
keep hearing that this is pretty much the case across all dealerships for the
first GTO's. Has anyone on the forum ...
nice parts?27 Mar 2004 22:26 GMT3
I just picked up a 1993 Grand Prix LE (3.1) with 113K for $1200.  I am
pretty damn happy, it has 2 door dings and a finicky driver door power lock
module.  The interior is very clean and the motor seems extremely happy.
I'm a little bummed the cutoff for cool stuff seems to be '94.  ...
Red Dash Lights - Year they came out.27 Mar 2004 19:21 GMT4
Just curious what year Pontiac started using the red instrument panel
lights on its different models.
I'm guessing 1986 was the first year on the Bonneville.

I'm taking a 2 hour drive to look at a 97 GTP tommorow, and I need
some opinions quick on positives/negatives on this year..
I used to own a 91 GTP, and although it was a blast to drive, it was
riddled with problems.   Electrical....tranny, and eventually
96 Grand Am check engine light problem27 Mar 2004 13:23 GMT2
My 96 Pontiac Grand Am is having trouble in that the check engine
light in the instrument panel cluster periodically comes on and
flashes. When it does the engine runs rough and there is a loss of
power, after a while the problem goes away but it always comes back.
98 GTP Fuel Tank Problems27 Mar 2004 12:36 GMT8
Hate to run to the well to often with questions, but it has been a bad
month for the Grand Prix.
I was driving on the interstate about 60 miles from home when the engine
surged and quit.  Got it restarted but it dieseled to a stop pretty
changing high pressure hose on grand prix??27 Mar 2004 06:59 GMT3
i need to change the high pressure hose on my power steering and was
wondering if the best thing to do is remove the motor wishbone on top and
pull engine forward to gain excess to back of motor or try to get to it from
the side wheelwell, you can't get to it from the bottom at all. ...
Oil change maintenance question27 Mar 2004 05:24 GMT6
I have a 2000 Sunfire with 2.4L engine. What would be the best oil and brand
name to use for this engine?  I don't mind spend the money on oil change and
frequency to ensure the engine will last.  I am committed to use synthetic
oil and have heard that I should use 10W30 oil instead ...
Synthetic tranny fluid or Conventional?27 Mar 2004 03:32 GMT3
I am replacing the fluid in my 2002 Montana's transmission 35000 km. I know
that this is not a lot of km but I just bought a pop up and will be towing
near max weight for the van.
Is there any advantage to going synthetic?
Engine/cooling problem?27 Mar 2004 00:04 GMT1
I have a Montana 2000 which came back from the intake leaking about 2 months
ago.  When I had the intake problem, the engine temperature gauge was fairly
high (idle at between 1/4 mark and mid point).  If I got stuck in a few stop
lights, it can reach as high as 3/4 mark which is ...

Brakes grab or something26 Mar 2004 16:39 GMT4
I've got a 2001 Grand AM SE with 2 disks and 2 drums.  When I brake it
feels like my brakes grab; ie like the braking pressure is increased
at one point every time the tires make one revolution.  If I apply
constant pressure to the brakes, the car will jerk to a stop.  Does
