Will a 2002 alero oldsmobile engine fit in a 1997 pontiac montana? what
changes will need to be made?   both vehicles have vin e as 8th digit. any
help much apreciated. thanks

My 97 Grand Prix 3800 GTP w/supercharger is leaking gas from where the a
fuel line hose connects to the injector rail. There are two fuel lines side
by side just over the supercharger body. The one on the drivers side is
leaking.

I have a pontiac vibe. When I shift gears, I hear a little squeak sometimes.
I imagine it's just from pressing down on the clutch and is no big deal, but
I thought I'd check and see if any other people out there have had it
happen.

I just bought  a 2004 Grand Am and noticed when i start it all the guages
(tach fuel etc) move all the way to the right then bounce back to the left
then right again before settling down to where they r supposed to be.
Is this normal??

I have a '91 Grand Prix with the 3.1.  Occasionally on a cold start my
"service engine soon" light will come on but goes right back out after
about a minute or two.  I know that when this happens I need to have a
code from the computer translated however since the light goes right

manual  BUT it had a 428 and the three dueces were Holleys, not Rochesters.
On the front fenders it had 428 badges.  Mechanical, rather than vacuum
linkeage.  I ran the VIN and it comes up as a standard GTO.  ...

Usually I can isolate and tell where noise is coming from, either just by
listening, or with a screw driver or scope held up to my ear. But I can't
decide if this noise is the supercharger itself or the idler pulley. I know
the idler pulley makes a "cracking" sound when I pry it ...

Just noticed this last night.  After acceleraring to about 30-35 miles
an hour and letting my foot off of the gas, it almost sounds as if the
car is reving at a higher RPM, but  the RPM?s are going down according
to the gauge.  Almost soung like the tires are rubbing or vibrating.

V-6 3.1 automatic car acts like it is out of gas, changed fule pump,
filter, ECM, Ignition module, pickup coil. You can squirt fuel thru air
intake and engine runs once you stop it dies.
