Got a used 99 grand am from a dealership 7 days ago. And I got a short
list of problems that maybe some of you know how to address... so here
we go.
1.) constant overheating problem: I thought at first the problem was

Just curious to know how many people have had the problem with their Grand
Prixs where the intake manifold wears out/warps and starts leaking coolant?
I was told it is a $1200 repair and very common.  There are numerous posts
on the NHTSA site about it and a petition floating ...

I have a Bonneville that does not like to start cold.
Typically to get it started at the beginning of the day, I
have to hold the ignition for between 5-10 seconds.  It
doesn't start then.  I let off and then try it again.  This

I have a 1988 pontiac bonneville and whenever I get up to around 55 mph,
the speedometer stops working. The needle just flops down to zero. Also on
this car, the passenger side door is stuck shut. The button doesn't
respond, just as it would act if the door were locked. Help on one ...

Can anyone help me!! If I run my  car say 10 miles then shut it off
and it sits like 20mins or less. start it back up  and try to go it
like wants to  die I give it gas it goes, but has hesitation. I like

Any remarks on the bonneville gxp 2004-2005. I feel the ride is a little
harsh. Perhaps the 18" rims feel all the bumps.  Are the boneville se's a
little softer ride?  I love the car other wise.

I have a 1999 Pontiac Montana. Wife com\complains belt is slipping in the
morning making squealing noise goes away after 10-15 mins. So I changed the
belt then ran the engine, while checking out the new belt I noticed the belt
was vibrating after it came from the harmonic ...

There is a plastic fitting for the coolant hose connecting from water pump
to lower intake plenum (position just under my supercharger).  This plastic
fitting is about 3/4 in diameter with socket size 1-1/8 inch was broken in
half without warning  dumping coolant all over the engine ...

Hi i have a 02 v6 bird and today i cranked it up to let her warm up
and after the normal 15 minute warm up time i got in it to go to work,
and had no power, also the "REDUCED ENG PWR" was on. it has done
this once before about a month ago and after leaving the car all day

Turn signals work fine when:
Running with lights off

We had are intake manifold Gasket replaced the other day now when we turn
on are heater we get rhe smell of gas . Also are fuel is going down to
fast. There seems to be no fuel in the engine coolant or oil.ANY IDEAS?

When the grand am is cold in the morning the car stumbles and
sometimes it stalls. Then after I drive the car it runs normally. It
is a 2.3l DOC quad 4, if the is an answer I would like to hear about
it    thank you
