'64 GTO grille question07 Sep 2005 19:34 GMT2
Does anyone know for sure whether the grille in  a 64 GTO is the same as a
64 Lemans, or is it different?  E-bay is no help...  It seems like every
Lemans part out there will fit a GTO according to the sellers, but I know
better (except for the grille, that is!)
How to find answers07 Sep 2005 16:52 GMT23
I often come across as a sarcastic bastard.  Why?  Because all too often
it's obvious that someone has made no effort to help themselves before
posting.  Spoonfeeding is not an option.  Here is a little primer that I
hope will help making answers easier to find, and if an answer ...

Question On For Sale Postings06 Sep 2005 04:11 GMT5
Sting Ray has infomed me that as he is the moderator of this group, our "For Sale" postings, though marked with an "FS" are not
welome here.
It seems strange that I get a lot of positive feedback and people purchasing vintage cars directly from these postings, but they are
EGR Valve check05 Sep 2005 06:52 GMT2
Is there a way to test the erg valve?
Could a misfunctioning egr be the cause of the problem that my car
doesn't run smoothly around 2500 rpm?

02 Grand Am Dent04 Sep 2005 15:55 GMT2
I have a small dent, maybe 4 inches on the top corner of my front fender.May
have been done by a basketball/football. Anyone have any luck with those
dent poppers(ones with the glue).  To access it from the back would require
removing the wheel and inner ferders.

I will be selling an original X Code 455 '72 GTO soon, and I am trying to
put together some additional info beyond the basic decoding.
I know that in 72 the "GTO" was basically a package on the LeMans, but this
one seems pretty well equipped.  Power windows, etc.  Just curious how ...

Might be time to buy a hybrid.03 Sep 2005 21:49 GMT8
I was thinking of getting rid of the GA and getting a G6 GTP coupe, but with
the threat of gas going up to maybe $4 per gallon, I need to seriously think
of something that gets better that 25 mpg. More like 35 or 40 mpg might be
the way to go. Sure the hybrids are ugly as hell, but ...

My daughter has a 97 Grand Am (2.4) that won't start. Turns over fine.
