Dear reader,
My '94 3.4 FSI Firebird suffered from a broken connector rod. Therefore

won't start, not even a little explosion..... The engine turns
TECH:92 Grand AM Exh manifold studs!!!!06 Mar 2006 20:47 GMT6
OK. Here goes.
I over torqued the exhaust manifold bolts (or specifically studs) and
may have crimped the new exhaust manifold gasket (FelPro #ms90559). Got
replacement, will torque the 7 'bolts' to spec this time.

Car belongs to my daughter. Driving awhile ago, the car jerked, like it hit
something. Then all was OK.
Took to dealer for 60K service, and mentioned the problem.  They checked it
out and said all was OK. (Dealer),,,?  Now it started it again.  This time I

bleeder hole inside old choke housing?  Thanks, Lou

How does security warning light relate to the engine that will not start.

driving this morning. I parked the car and restart the engine, this light
went away. I can drive the car without a problem.
Grand Am starter wont crank...01 Mar 2006 01:19 GMT1
I seem to be having some problems with my 91 Grand Am. I can't get the
starter to... well do anything. I tried charging the battery, cleaning
the contacts on the battery, smacking the starter, jiggling the key,
tried starting it in park and neutral... and nothing. Any ideas? I'm

Hi.  I was just wondering what could possibly be wrong with my 2002 Pontiac
Montana AWD van.  The abs light comes on and when that does the awd disable
light comes on too.  I know that's normal for the awd disable light to come
on at the same time.  It used to come on and then shut ...
