but now I cant open the hood, as the
cable broke.
Is there a way to open it from the front?

My 98 Sunfire first started acting up this spring, it would suddenly
lose power when I pushed on the gas peddle. After some fiddling around,
(I am not mechanically inclined AT ALL) I heard something click when I
pushed on it (it turned out to be the fuel pump fuse, which I replaced)

2001 WS6 trans am with starting problems: car turned off while driving,But
has started once since.replaced crank sensor and checked other systems ak
fuel coil packes.GM parts guy said it was the ignition lock was bad. has

i was sitting at a red light and my car just stopped i replaced the heads
,head gaskets and it still does the same thing

I'm trying to replace the front valve cover gasket and there is a plastic
plug-wire holder/tray that covers the 2 bottom bolts.  Is there a way of
removing or moving the plastic or should I try to take the plug wires out of
it and try to work around it?? Any help is appreciated!  ...

Just replaced the engine in daughter in laws 2001 3.4 Aztec.
Radiator fans running when A/C on and gauge reads normal.
Shut the air off and it runs hot,gauge very close to red line before fans run.
Why do the fans come on so late and only run a short time?

Just purchased a 2002 GrandAm with no owner's manual.  Whenever I start
to drive I get 4 distinct chimes.  Not for seatbelts.  Are these normal
and or what do they mean?

I have a 2005 Grand Prix GTP, with the manual shift (automatic)
performance option.  The car has 35,600 + miles, warranty about to
expire.  Recently the transmission has started to feel funny, seems to
hunt back and forth in high gear (fourth).  Feels like the lockup

I have 2002 Grand Am automatic that will not start in park but will start
a
few seconds in neutral then dies. Replaced fuel filter but no change. Car
has only 20,000 miles and is driven mostly in city.

How the heck do you replace the lower engine mount on a 3.1?  I put the car
up on ramps and tried to raise the engine with a jack and a block of wood
under the oil pan.  The whole front of the car started lifting, not the
engine.  Do I have to take the axles out?  Ugh, this may be a ...

The blower works on all settings but #1, and last year the air worked
