Pontiac remote range09 Aug 2006 06:13 GMT2
I have a 99 Grand Prix, but I don't think the model makes a difference
here.
Has anyone had troubles with crappy range on their keyless
entry/security system remotes?  Mine doesn't work 90% of the time until
99 Grand Prix Overheats w/AC on09 Aug 2006 06:12 GMT4
On these really hot summer days (100-degrees), I'm unable to run my air
conditioner without overheating the engine.  I've taken the car in to a
TUNEX to have the thing checked out, and the only thing they found was
semi-old coolant.  They replaced this and it helped a little.
Vibe Problem09 Aug 2006 05:25 GMT5
My 2005 Vibe (base with automatic) has had a problem from day one. After
sitting at a long red light with the AC on, it hesitates when accelerating
from a stop. After the hesitation it is fine.
Today the OEM battery went dead, and the car refused to start...just a
Front brake calipers sticking09 Aug 2006 05:22 GMT2
I replaced both calipers, had my rotors inspected and they do not need
to be turned. I also had my brakes professionally bled. When I press
the brake pedal I get a loud creeking sound as if there is air in the
line and at times the pedal will go to the floor. Is there a way I can
1995 Bonneville09 Aug 2006 05:19 GMT4
Ok, it has 184,000 on it and the tranny started making a weird grinding
noise. Lost all forward and reverse gears. Long story short, I pulled the
pan off and found metal shavings in the pan. So much matter of fact, the
magnet couldn't hold it anymore.  Anyone know what might have ...
88 Grand Prix Help09 Aug 2006 05:16 GMT7
I have a 88 Grand Prix with a 2.8 V6, how could I tell if the catalytic
converter was getting plugged up?  This car has lost power and fuel milage.
The manifolds dont turn red at night, but when its running you can hear
rattling from that point under the car were the C.C is ...
is this the forum for 86 pontiac bonneville questions?09 Aug 2006 05:14 GMT10
I bought an 86 pontiac bonneville, and I have a bunch of questions about
maintaining it --- is this the right forum, or is this for more up-to-date
pontiacs?  If this isn't the best forum for these questions, could you
suggest an alternative?
Flooded Bonnaville09 Aug 2006 05:11 GMT1
Does anybody know where I can get some information on leaking cars,
perferably a 01 Pontiac Bonnaville.  Is there any information anywhere
about this problem?
When it rains it pours in on the floorboards. Is it true that a drain

1999 Firebird will not start!!!07 Aug 2006 18:44 GMT2
Ok, This may sound silly to some but i am having a real problem!!
Here goes, bought the car less than 1 month ago for my son. He has a
new stereo system installed 7/25 on 7/28 stops for gas and car will not
restart. Problem is I think it is the VATS system telling the car not
'96 Grand Am window help07 Aug 2006 04:39 GMT2
I have a '96 GA with a window problem.  The windows sometimes work and
then they don't.  Sometimes they'll go down all the way, sometimes only part
of the way.  Same thing going up.  One window may work fine and another
doesn't.  I wait a few minutes and they're fine.  Do I ...
2001 montana level control (air conditioner) failure..07 Aug 2006 00:12 GMT2
So here I am with the wifes "don't you dare touch my van' 2001 Montana,
trying to blow air up on the kids bikes.
Throw the key to Acc, and remove the access panel, and hit the on

1998 Pontiac Sunfire - Overhead Lamp won't turn off.06 Aug 2006 19:09 GMT2
Got into my Sunfire after a night with friends to see the courtesy light
turn on when the door opens... normal stuff. But it didn't turn off when
I closed the door. In fact it stayed on through out my driving and
refuses to turn off even with the car in park and turned off. I've

Key stuck in ignition on Pontiac Bonneville 199605 Aug 2006 03:33 GMT3
It's 96, automatic transmission.
The key doesn't go into "Lock" position, it stays in off position. It
is a spare key. I'm sure the transmission is in parking position
(otherwise the car would roll down the hill, I guess). I can start and
