Engine Problems17 Oct 2006 17:17 GMT4
I have a 2001 Pontiac GrandAM GT, and there appears to be a serious
problem with it.  It started the other day; when I went to start the
car, it kept stalling; so I checked and the battery was dead. After
replacing it with one of the same line (75 series), it worked fine. I

ATF in PS Reservoir16 Oct 2006 01:56 GMT1
I added about a 1/4 cup of Mercon V ATF to my PS reservoir.
Immediately realizing my mistake, I siphoned out all of the PS fluid and ATF
in the reservoir and refilled it with PS fluid, I then siphoned out all of
the fluid again and refilled it a second time with PS fluid, I then ...

Hi I have a 2000 Bonny SSEi that has developed a hard shift when changing
gears in the lower gears at very low revs and when it is up to normal
operating temperature. It doesn't do this when the power is on, i.e hard

The parts people tell me the oil pump is integrated and can;t be replaced.
Any ideas?
1995 Bonneville Head Up Display14 Oct 2006 21:04 GMT4
I bought a 1995 Bonnevile and the HUD isn;t working. We tried swapping one
that we know works from our 1994 parts car with no results. Does anyone know
if there is a fuse or a connector we should check, or other probable causes?
The connections at the unit are fine.

I'm back with the 91 Grand Prix,
You can have the car running and in park and when you press on the
break pedel the speedometer will have you going anywhere from 20 to 40
mph. To add to the confusion. The oddometer will all of a sudden out of

I have a 2000 Pontiac Montana and I cannot find a drain plug ANYWHERE to

I have a 1991 Grand Prix with a 3.1. We have replaced the starter and
there was still a starting problem. So the repair shop added a solenoid
to bypass the neutral safty switch to avoid having to pull the motor o
replace it. The car ran fine for about 1 1/2 months. During this ...

Good to know this group exists.  I have a question to pose to you all.  I
own a '78 Trans Am.  I recently laid to rest my original 180 horsepower
engine.  (The compression was way too low).  Rather than opt for a rebuild,
I purchased another 400 from a garage a few doors down from ...
