vibration during braking08 Oct 2006 08:46 GMT4
2001 Pontiac Grand Prix SE. This is the car that my brother drives, and
he said he had the brakes serviced about a 1.5 years ago. I don't think
he uses the brakes that hard, so I would assume that the brakes
shouldn't need servicing already again. But I've driven in and there is
Question about the Vibe and Pontiac07 Oct 2006 18:23 GMT12
I am seriously considering buying a 2007 Vibe, and have a few
questions.
is it true that Toyota manufactures the motor/mechanical insides of the
car?
Coolant on the ground06 Oct 2006 17:07 GMT9
96 Grand Prix GT 3.1L with 137000 miles on it. Just started leaking
coolant on the ground. Added a gallon of 50/50 Dexcool last Friday and
I'm sure it's low again. Can't quite tell where it's coming from. After
reading some on here looks like heater core, water pump or maybe intake
2000 GrandAm PASSLOCK Problem05 Oct 2006 01:41 GMT4
My 2000 GA GT 3.4 has the dreaded PASSLOCK problem. On occassion, the
motor will crank, but not start. The SECURITY dashboard light then
flashes for about 10 minutes, then it starts fine, I hooked up my OBD
II scanner, and no codes are detected. Rather than fix the problem,
Braking and Vibration on G6 GT04 Oct 2006 03:17 GMT14
When I am driving at ~60 mph and brake (does not matter how hard or how
soft) it starts shaking. The steering vibrates and I have to back off
and brake again (almost like pumping non-abs brakes). The vibration is
not the ABS coming into action so ABS is out of question.
1995 pontiac transport 3.8 intake manifold gasket failure help needed03 Oct 2006 01:45 GMT9
oil in the rad making the dexcool crap look like transmission  fluid.. no
rad fluid in the crank or on the dipstick. Is this the prone intake manifold
gasket problem on 3.8's ? any help would be great.
Dumbass Question: Climate Control Knob '98 GP02 Oct 2006 21:35 GMT3
The other day I twisted the climate control selector knob too harshly on
my '98 GP 3800 GT and broke the knob (the part that fits over the metal
spindle). I glued the knob together, but can't it to change control
settings, even though it's lined up properly with the flattened ...

Signal flasher01 Oct 2006 19:37 GMT4
The flasher on a 2002 Grand Am appears to be behind the radio somewhere and
Pontiac service says the radio must be removed to gain access to it. Anyone
know of an easier way?
Thanks,
Engine cuts out at idle in drive.......01 Oct 2006 04:20 GMT2
90' 6000 SE 122K MILES. 3.1 ltr. Just recently when I'm at a stop light, in
drive, the engine will cut out most of the time. The idle sounds kinda low.
when I go to start it back up, it starts up right away. The car runs great
otherwise. This will happen if it is wet or dry outside. ...
