2004 Grand Am Key Won't Turn in Ignition18 Dec 2006 23:30 GMT4
One evening, several months ago, I jumped in this car, stuck the key in as
usual (the ignition lock is on the dash), but it would not turn. After
uttering a couple of expletives, and wiggling the key around a bit, it
worked. I assumed that was my fault ... probably in a hurry and ...

Hello Pontiac experts,
My '96 Sunfire horn is intermittent.  The first 3 or 4 times I push the horn
each day nothing happens.  No clicking, nothing.  It then starts working
perfectly for the rest of the drive. I replaced the horn but that changed

illuminate the heater/AC controls in a 2004 Grand Prix? They are already
starting to go, and I want to sub in LED's, but don't know how to remove the

Overhead Console Loose - 2002 Grand Prix16 Dec 2006 20:29 GMT1
The overhead console (with the reading lamps and the switch for the
power sunroof) in the 2002 Grand Prix I just bought is loose. There's a
black, hard plastic border around it - the whole assembly inside that
border is loose, hanging about a quarter of an inch below the border.
2000 GPGTP 0717 Error16 Dec 2006 16:58 GMT1
Just started throwing a 0717 error. I assume this is the transmission speed
sensor, right? Looking into it, it looks like a royal PITA... the part costs
peanuts, replacing it is simple -- but the labor charge is *4* hours because
half the front end has to be torn apart just to ...

PLEASE HELP; MY WINDOW WON"T GO UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!13 Dec 2006 05:48 GMT8
I have a 2000 Grand Prix GT w/ power windows and power locks. One day,
after finishing a butt, I went to put  the driver's side window up from
being down about 1/2 way, when, without warning, THE WINDOW WOULD NOT
GO UP!! It would,  however, still go down no problem. So, after
Odd engine noise.12 Dec 2006 22:03 GMT8
This morning I started the car.  (It was only 5 degress (F)) and it turned
over slow as usual in cold weather but started.  After it ran for 20
seconds, it began making this slapping, clattering, chattering, knocking
noise.  It sounded almost like hitting a marble with another ...
'98 Bonneville12 Dec 2006 00:57 GMT2
Hello.  My Bonneville often stalls, but then I'm able to re-start it
without a
problem.  Right before stalling, the warning light comes on and the car
makes the "charm" sound.  Any help is appreciated...
1994 Grand Prix11 Dec 2006 04:19 GMT1
I have a problem with cold starts with this vehicle.  When starting for the
first time in the morning the car does not rev over 1000 rpm.  So my
questions is does this vehicle have a high idle sensor?  And if it does
where is it located.
04 GP auto trans10 Dec 2006 19:00 GMT2
Noticed tonite coming home from work that the tranny was rough shifting up

into the dealer tomorrow to have it checked. But is this a sure sign that
there is serious problems or could it be just a ...
