2003 sunfire power window failure in extreme cold temperatures09 Dec 2006 02:36 GMT4
All the power windows work except the driver's side when the

Bicycle rack for Solistice09 Dec 2006 01:52 GMT2
Does anyone know of a bicycle rack that will fit the Solistice?  I
assume
that it is impossible to attach a trailer hitch that might hold a
bicycle rack.
Low Temperature - Low Heater Output - Sludge in System!09 Dec 2006 01:20 GMT6
I just bought a 2000 Grand Prix (3100 engine) with 123,000 miles.  The
engine temp gague is always at a low reading (about 160 - 170) even if
I rev the engine or leave it idle for a while.  Also, the heater blows
mildly warm air.  I opened the radiator, and found all kinds of brown

3.4L V6 with  Hydra-Matic 4T60-E.  The trouble began about three months ago.
Engine died after fast acceleration.  It did not reoccur for several weeks.
But slowly but surely it became more frequent.   Now it is almost a
guarantied to happen every time I drive the car.  Typically ...
"Pontiac oriented to performance"08 Dec 2006 09:55 GMT2
Pontiac oriented to performance
The two-passenger Solstice and the four-passenger G6 convertible aren't
gimmick-driven cars. Both are stylish, well-engineered and carefully
screwed together.
97 Sunfire  Power Reduction @ 4000 rpm08 Dec 2006 03:06 GMT2
While driving my 97 Sunfire 4 cyl with automatic, the other day it
began to display an odd behavior.  The engine seems to display
"redlining" behaviors at 4000 rpm, and will also reduce power to the
engine.  At idle it idles smooth, and rev's fine all the way up to 3500

Stalling (Again)05 Dec 2006 20:59 GMT10
Yeah, it's my 1988 Pontiac 6000 (2.5 - 3-speed auto - 125,000 miles)
with stalling again that I bring up so much in this group - it's got a
little change to it.  The other day in the parking lot, I turned my car left
(not touching the gas) to get ready to back into my parking ...

Before you buy a G6 Convertible05 Dec 2006 03:50 GMT1
I just found out that Chrysler is comming out with a 2008 Sebring hardtop

trunk type but the body looks better than the G6 especially with the top
down, it doesn't have that bathtub look of the G6. But the ...

Drum brake is knocking04 Dec 2006 14:41 GMT1
2002 Pontiac Sunfire with rear drums.  Just replaced the drums and
shoes/linings.  Now there is a knocking noise only under moderate

sounds like something is hitting from the rotation of the wheel since
