Losing Antifreeze somewhere30 Jan 2007 01:52 GMT7
My wife has a 2003 Grand Am V6. About every two months or so, her low
coolant light comes on the dash. I fill the coolant container up and it
lasts for another two months. I have looked all over and see no leaks on the
motor. Is there some sort of test to see if I have a head ...

After driving the car for a few minutes, the ABS and Traction control system
lights come on.  I  loose both ABS and traction control.
Both work prier to the warning lights coming on. If I park the car and turn
it off, restart, and all is well for a bit until the lights come on.

Transmission Startup Delay, 1992 Grand Prix28 Jan 2007 16:31 GMT2
I have a 1992 Pontiac Grand Prix, 2 door, 3.1 litre engine, overdrive.
We bought it used with 150k miles for $1000 from a dealer. One problem
that started when we got it and has been much worse during the cold
months is a tendency for the car to need to heat up for a long time
Rear End Ratios28 Jan 2007 01:09 GMT2
Can anyone tell me if a 2.73 to 1 rear end ratio is more economical than a
3.73to1?  What is the formula for figuring the ratios?  I checked my car and
the drive shaft turns about 2 and 3/4 turns to 1 for the wheel.  Would that
make it be a 2.73 to 1?   Appreciate your help.  Lou

Worth Fixing?25 Jan 2007 09:10 GMT37
Here's the list of issues that mostly need attention and are serious.
Do you think this car's worth fixing?  Secondly, how much do you think
it would cost to fix all of this?  (1988 Pontiac 6000 2.5 with 125k

2001 Bonny - After 10 min of high speed driving, the low traction light
comes on with a slight pull from the left front wheel, like the trac
control was trying to correct a problem.  Goes away in 1 second.
Re-occurs every 20 minutes or so.  Any ideas what's wrong?
