I have a 2002 sunfire and just recently the check engine light came on. I was wanting to know if I can access the codes with out a reader. I know on some cars you can use a jumper wire to get blink codes. Can someone help with this............thanks .......two-dogs

I was doing the oil / oil filter / air filter / gas filter change on my wife's 99 GP (57Kmiles) and the book in the store listed a PVC valve so I got one of those too (used to have an 80 225 slant six Cordoba whose PVC valve used to clog with carbon a lot when the car got up ...

I have a 97 Grand Am with a 3.1 that keeps getting hot.Mostly when in town it gets hot.Fan comes on when needed.It is a closed system and we keep bleeding the air out through the bleeder,then add coolant when motor is cooled off.Can smell coolant but can't find a leak.No oil in ...

I am at a loss to determine why my 2.2l sunfire will not start easily after it has been running for a while. When the the engine is cold in the morning it fires right up. An hour later or four hours later it takes 15 to 30 seconds of cranking to get it going.

Ok, got a window motor for my '95 Trans Sport. Riveted the regulator back on to the new motor. However, the rivets that need to go through the door to mount the whole thing in place are too big for my rivet gun.

This car is at the dealer for a water pump.. So far this car is going on 15 hours of labor.. I am only going to get billed for 6 though.. Has anyone heard of this water pump turning into that much of a nighmare?
