Power Sunroof Won't Open All the Way (2002 Grand Prix)07 May 2007 01:23 GMT6
I just bought a 2002 Grand Prix, and the power sunroof won't open all
the way - at least sometimes: I tested it today, and it opened all the
way once. When it won't work right, it opens about half way (the
sunshade is already open completely). If I press the button again, it

takes 15 to 30 seconds of cranking to get it going.

I have a 2001 Grand AM SE that I need to get the inside door panel on
the drivers side off of.  I am missing some screws somewhere and I was
hoping someone might be able to tell me where to find them all.  The
manual mirror adjustment knob somehow came lose and fell inside the
Window lift motor mounting02 May 2007 03:16 GMT3
Ok, got a window motor for my '95 Trans Sport.  Riveted the regulator
back on to the new motor.  However, the rivets that need to go through
the door to mount the whole thing in place are too big for my rivet
gun.
