Due to a lack of maintenance on my part the freeze plug on the rear of the engine had to be replaced. It cost me $700 to replace a $1 part. The mechanic had to lower the tranny to get to it so there was a lot of labor. He was going to replace all of the plugs but he could only

My 1997 GP SE, 3800 has close to 104,000 mi. I just replaced all 4 tires, the left front wheel bearing assembly, and had it fully aligned up. The manual calls for a tuneup at this time also,

i have a 94 transport with the check engine soon light on,the van appears to be running fine but,this not a obd 2 system,and even though the connector appears to be obd 1,the pins are not the same configuration to jump the top left two to read the light for pulse codes,autozone ...

I own a 1998 Pontiac Gran Prix SE with a normally aspirated 3.8l V-6. Lately it has developed a problem which is not setting a fault code. The first sign of a problem is the Tachometer drops to zero, then the traction control light indicator shows "off" and finally the car loses

okay whats the trick now,another thing that goes wrong again,a simple thing like changing rear pads on this car is as simple as pie,take bottom bolt out and the caliper is on a hinge on the top bolt(pin),it simply lifts up and the pads pull out of thier clips,except upon pushing ...

I really do need some help. I have a 2 door pontiac grand am SE . When I drive my car for a short time, it start to stall, sputter and cut off in the middle of the highway. I've gotten the fuel pump changed, the ignition module and new coil plugs but the problem will not go away.

i started hearing a noise that sounds like a motor is running /humming noise/like the trans is running because it will not shift, just hard to describe, but i also noticed when reving up the engine to try and figure out the noise problem, that it will not go past 4,000 RPM'S.my

I'm just wondering, I've driven them both. Last one driven was the Gtp and that one had suprised me...Alot. They're both very fast. So what is your opinion . Thanks for your thought's. '01 GPrix GTP 3.8 Supercharger or '97 corvette 5.7 345 hp.

I recently started to experience some (Automatic) transmission slippages on my 2000 GP GT. After servicing, the tech said the Fluid control Solenoid needed to be replaced. however, after getting that replaced, I still have the issues.

I am hoping someone has had this problem... I finaly got tired of being hot and topped off the refrigerant in my AC. I know it has a slow leak (about one can every 4-6 months) and I couldn't be bothered earlier.

My 2002 Grand AM V6 3400 sfi engine Idles fine but when I try and accelerate it boggs down. It gets as high as 2000 RPM fine and then the RPM's drop way down and the engine acts like it wants to go but can't.

Is it possible to damage a car by hooking up the wrong wires to the wrong spark plugs? I did that and attempted to start my car and it didn't of course. I'm just wondering if there was any damage caused. I tried starting multiple times... ...like 3 or 4.
