My son just bought a 2000 Grand Am SE (in what appears to be beautiful
condition) and was planning on getting a variety of things serviced on
general principles. When he inquired about an auto trans service, he was
told these trannys were not supposed to be serviced -- ever. (Hey ...

Is the key fob the only way to open the trunk?  I've looked in all the usual
places for a button or lever, or something, to no avail.
I purchases this vehicle used a couple of years ago, and don't have an

In my 99 GrandAm, the ABS and BRAKE dash lights have been coming on and going out a couple times each day for

I have a 2002 GP GT with the 3.8L V6. I was driving today and the temp

usually does, but I just attributed that to the cool fall weather we

I (in the Netherlands) own a Pontiac Grand prix 4,9 ltr 1980. Now I had a
serious fluid leak, I found out it is one of the two lines from the power
steering fluid tank to the pump itself. Each line consists of metal ends,
but in between a rubber hose. I believe one of the two ...
2.5 Iron Duke; Timing gears or timing chain?20 Oct 2007 14:35 GMT1
Well, this is my problem...
My 2.5 is rattling badly, and it's coming from the timing cover. Also,
until recently there was a metallic knocking coming from the cover.
Now the cover is leaking oil, though the knocking sound has stopped.
