Well, this is my problem...
My 2.5 is rattling badly, and it's coming from the timing cover. Also,
until recently there was a metallic knocking coming from the cover.
Now the cover is leaking oil, though the knocking sound has stopped.

I've got a 2002 Grand Am GT with 120,000 on it and its been making a
rattling noise on the front left for the past few months when I go
over bumps and uneven roadways.  I took it in today and the service
shop at the dealer told me its the front suspension and i'll need new

99 Grand Am has raw fuel smell coming into passenger area thru heating
system when engine is cold and first started. Seems to go away as the car
warms up.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Has anyone ever run into this ?  Any ideas on what the part/fix might
be?  The one mechanic near me thought it may be a relay of some sort..
Any thoughts on total cost to fix?
