82 SC questions11 Jul 2003 15:44 GMT2
Hi, finally purschased a 911.  It is a 82 911 SC with a turbo charger.  I am
not sure if it is the original engine that was modified or a replacement
engine.  How do I find out what engine size/type it is?
I am sure I will have many more questions.
Looking into my first Porsche11 Jul 2003 11:11 GMT3
Here's the deal - if I can dump my financed 02 car without taking too
much of a bath I want to buy an old 911.
I'm basically a newbie at all of this.  I live in Southern California
and it seems there are plenty available in the under $10 000 range.

I'm trying to remove the turn signal lens (left side) from my 1995
911, and can't seem to get it off.  I removed the screw, but the lens
still won't budge.  How do I remove the lens?  Any help would be
appreciated.

Can an average auto electrical repair house fix my '79 911 alternator? Do
they have to order special diodes or brushes?

'86 turbo-bodied Cabrio SuperSport09 Jul 2003 00:15 GMT1
Got my first 911 500 miles ago. Love it to bits! Mild mods made so
far:
Momo steering wheel, gear knob and handbrake handle. Alloy sills and
pedals.
Water leaking from somewhere '84 91102 Jul 2003 01:39 GMT2
Water leaking from somewhere '84 911, replaced back portion of sunroof seal,
front was okay.
Rear passenger floorboard and carpet on right side all wet....like it is
running  down the frame between the door and back window.
