Is there any trick to removing the dash gauges from an 87 targa? The Service Manual suggests just prying the gauge from the rubber retaining ring. This is not working. Thanks for any help. Dennis

| DIY 911 repair: what years? | 05 Mar 2004 06:52 GMT | 1 |
I'm considering purchasing a 911 and will be doing all of my own repairs. At what model series does this become unreasonable for the home mechanic? As a comparison, I presently have been successful with all repairs major and minor to an '84 BMW 533i.
