My forward blower seems to have packed up after giving out some grinding
noise. I'm trying to get it, but before I start stripping the car apart, I
would like to get some tips or instructions from someone who has done this
before. There is no coverage in my Haynes Manual.

I have a 996 Carrera Cabriolet, 3.4 litre. The car is about 4 ? years old
has been fully serviced by porsche service center. Recently I ran into
some problems with the gearbox and was notified by Porsche service centre
that the gearbox had to be replaced because the shaft was broken ...

Hope someone can help me figure this out.  Had a dead battery, changed it.
At first when I turned on my radio "code" was displayed and me trying to
remember from two yrs prior tried some numbers, of course they didn't
work.  Ever since then, I can't get "code" to come back up.  ...

In cold, the car starts perfectly, stands some time in the hi-rev idle, and
then goes to the normal idle at 900 RPM. But the, in a 20 - 30 seconds, the

have been debaffled at a good price, but was unsure if there are any
variations in exhaust design between the manual/triptronic and/or the 3.4
and 3.6 litre engines

Someone was complaining about Panorama the other day, saying it had very
litte about the older cars.  But isn't that typical.  You seldom see much
about the older cars (ca. '50/'30s) in Detroit iron magazines either.
Except for Hot Rod magazine and the like.
