my porsche 911 1987 supersport does this.. starts fine runs 10 seconds then dies. will not restart just turns turns turns. any petrol heads who can solve this ???

on a 80's 911 and turbo, there is a small sensor wired and positioned between the sunvisors....it has a rubber exterior and i am sure tells the automatic heater control when to feed warm air into the cabin....anybody know a good source for one at less than retail? am in

I own a 1979 911 SC with a pretty standard motor. I want more output but have been told there is virtually NOTHING that can be done to the standard CIS motors that won't involve $10,000 + and I would be much better off spending less money on a 3.2L conversion.

Just bought my first 911. 91 C4 Coupe. All in all everything seems to be in excellent condition with one exception. Regardless of the temperature control postion (w/AC off) a large amount of heat pours out of the middle and passenger side vents. Driver's side is cool.

Just to get a little action going I thought I would just post what I have going on with my Porsches. Before you think wow, One is a REALLY rough 1972 Wide body 911 Targa I bought on E-bay for 192.00 the other is a very nice partially done 1974 Porsche 911 Targa.
