Is there a 997 shop manual out?

I found a 1998 911, very nice condition, but has a rebuilt title.
Owner bought from a doctor who had the rebuilt title, said car was
stolen and had to rebuld with new parts because parts were stolen off

there's a plethora of these readers around from the inexpensive ones
that will just read the codes to ones that plug into a laptop and do
??? to really expensive ones that dealers sell.  
Who has experience with what??
