anyone know for sure if upon pad replacement you are to discard the factory
"snap" like things that are glued to the factory pads?  these things aren't
mentioned in the 993 service manual, they aren't in the PET and they don't
come with new pads - I'm wondering if keeping these ...

After about 3-10 minutes of driving with my lights on ALL (minus the
engine light) of the warning lights on the dash will come on and the
warning buzzer will activate. This does not happen when the lights are off.
