I have a 1997 993 Carrera S. About a week or so a go, I hopped into my car and started driving. The steering instantly felt heavy and tight, as though there was some resistance in the mechanism.

the stock tires for the porsche 911 996 turbo are 11-inch wide rears. ok - my inquiry is about expanding tire width...to say 18-inch rears... the obvious is a meaty grip - not to mention a menacing look, but is there a downside to having that wide of tires - mechanically and/or ...

they say a normally aspirated 911 Carerra is generally more reliable than a 911 Turbo - since it's output is smoother and easier to control, specially at higher speeds. ok, but when does that factor kick in roughly...at how many years, or

with a ~30k budget, I'm hesitating between late 964s and early 993s. In terms of reliability, 993s are said to be far above but is it the case when you compare a '93 964 and an early '95 993 ? Thx for your help,
