    I was reading the Excellence buying guide on 996s and Anderson
wrote that Tiptronic-equipped Porsches are less prone to RMS failure
thanks to their lack of flywheel. Anyone ever heard any stats on this?

The steering seems s bit loose on my 1979  911.   I can hold the wheel and
move it up and down about 1/8"... is there a way to tighten the steering

In the 911, it looks like the engine is almost in back of the rear
axle.  I would think that would put most of the weight on the rear,
making it very hard to handle in corners.
But apparently it isn't?

This seems like an outrageous price for this car -- 61,000 miles, on
owner, probably needs new paint soon, clean interior, no obviou
