1986 turbo started sputtering at about 3k on tach. Happend after rain event. Was real bad during rain and subsequently not as bad as it drys out? Hapens frequently on hill and when the tach hits 3K.

My 1986 944 Turbo (non ABS) has started squeaking from the front disks when I brake at low speed. It doesn't happen when braking hard but only when slow braking in town traffic.

Does anyone know if the housing that supports the power steering pump bracket on 87 944S 2.5 is different then the other 944 engines? The housing is also part of the balance shaft assembly. Being a dumb clutz I broke the part of ear off that supports the pwr steering pump

I have a 944S which is fitted with Boxter wheels. These are 215/50/17 front and 225/40/17 rear. Tyres are the excellent Kumho 712's. My handbook lists tyre pressures for the standard 215/50/15 tyres at 36psi. Can anybody recommend pressures for the Boxter wheels and Kumho's?
