The throttle on my 87 944 has been sticking lately.  I tried
lubricants that seem to work for a while but it just starts sticking
again.  I took the intake hose off and cleaned the butterfly with carb
cleaner but still sticking.

My 87 944 fuel pump leaks.  It works fine and the car runs fine but
I'm wasting too much money on fuel.  Also, since I'm on a tight
budget, a new pump is out of the question right now!

Need a clear picture of the timing belt and balance shaft belt
installation matchings.  TIA

I needed some brake pad retaining pins & some expanding springs (those
little x shaped metal flats behind the brake pads) for my '87 na944.
After looking around I found them at my local Porsche dealership for less

Can anyone direct me to a website or club or info on how to change the
thermostat on an 87 944?  It is overheating ohh about 10 mins after starting
up just idling.  Has been sitting driven occasionally for about 2 years.

Over the past month or two my 944 has developed an odd sound. It only
happens at 3000 RPM, plus or minus a little bit when I'm accelerating
through the gears. I'm not really sure how to describe it, its like a rumble
or or a grinding noise.  Just incase this might be related, when ...

I've been searching around for a while trying to find someone who might be able to help me re-enable the alarm on my 944.
The previous owner took it into a shop and they disabled it. What that means, I have no idea, but i've checked all the fuses and they seem to be fine.
