I may be upgrading to another 944.  I am not sure what to do with my current
'87 944na.  Is there a demand if I part it out, or is that generally more
trouble than it is worth?

I have some questions about the interior and wheels of the 1985
(Early) 944.
1. I recently purchased a used 1985 (Early) 944. Mechanically and
appearance wise, it's superb! It's the interior that needs some minor

Can anyone tell me if this is a difficult job?  I read the Clarks Garage
description, but it doesn't give it a rating for difficulty.
I have found the sender, and from the top it looks pretty inaccessible.
Any ideas about difficulty, time it takes (approx of course) or helpful

Just the other day, after a long story about how I lost 1 of my brake caliper mounting bolts at 60 mph, I found that my front driverside strut seems to be leaking some grease.
I looked up towards the top of the strut (inside the spring) and the rubber boot around the strut seems ...

I have been thinking about getting a 944, but there are none in my area.
So looking for one is bit of a project. To make it more complicated, it
is only feasible for me to buy one if child seats will fit in the back.

Seems for awhile now that my '!' light and oil light will flicker when
my 88' 944 gets wet (as in rainy/humid for a day or two).  After it
dries up, the symptom stops...  Now it is not an full-on/full-off
flicker -- more like dimly lit...off...flicker...dim...off...etc...

Several months ago I found a website of a guy who lives in Pennsylvania.  He
rebuilds 944 engines (and apparently races a 951 ).  The site has a picture
of a bunch of 944s "out back" & I think he has a car nicknamed "black
beauty" or something similar.
