I've had my 90 S4 for 4+ years and its time to
move on.  It's not a garage queen, 110,000 miles. Stock V8, 316hp,Various
stone chips and a few very minor door dings/scratches. It will pass the
10-ft. visual check. The interior is good no dash cracks, small wear on

i have an 84 944, but feel the need for more speed. anyone share their
expertise and give me some really good upgrade advice?

Lately I've been having some strange problems with my cruise control on my 1986 944 na (manual).
When I set the cruise control, sometimes it takes and will function normally. Other times it either floors the gas when I set it, or it will seemingly pulsate the throttle.

I want to remove my existing air filter and replace it with a K and N
cone filter arrangement. Does anyone know if there is a
formula/calculation for figuring out how big a cone filter i need?

My 83 944 won't start:
I've measure 1.5 L of fuel being delivered to the fuel rail in 30'seconds.
I see spark.
I've checked the AirFlow Sensor electrically.

Just thought I'd throw this quick tip in... If your hood struts are bad, you
can use beer bottles to hold the hood up.  Just place them in sideways (butt
first) underneath the sqaure metal braket looking thing on each side of the
hood hinges by the windshield, and then lower the ...

I own a 1987 944T, low miles, about 28,000.  For about the last 2 weeks I've
been getting a really harsh, staccato note when I accelerate hard.  It seems
to be occur around 3-3.5 k on the tach and/or 1.5 on the turbo boost bar.
It is far less noticible, maybe not noticible at all, ...
