I have a 84 944 and the clutch no longer works. It goes right to the floor. A few years back I had this fixed at the shop, it turned out to be the slave cylinder. I am wondering what parts have to be removed to fix this? How difficult it is?

What is the best oil to run on a 944 with over 100K miles on it? Specifically, a pure synthetic oil like Mobil 1, a synthetic / petroleum base mixture, or strictly petroleum base oil? And what weight is the best, a multi weight like 20W50W, 10W40W, or a straight

I'm preparing to rebuild the clutch master and slave cylinders on a 1987 944 n/a. What tools will I want for this procedure, other than the tools required to remove the cylinders from the car? Is anyone aware of any links, websites, or write-ups on this process?

my 944 1982 was not used for 4 years.... i got all the rust off the discs but the brakes are very spongy and i cant get any hard braking out of the ??? why is this any ideas, i am about to bleed the fluid.

Ok Guys, Here's the situation. I've had an early 85 944 for about 5 years... It ran great for the first 4 and had tons of power. Now I am experiencing some trouble.

I have an 87 944 turbo. Often, when I turn off the headlights, the light assemblies will cycle open and closes many times before going into their proper closed position. Any ideas? Ralph

hiya guys.... i finail got it started after 3 weeks, thanks for the help from all. (it was the speed sensor) But there is tapping in the engine? what is the cause of this? it has been inm storage for 4 years though, i will change oil today....
