Hey all, I decided to change out the clutch in my 1987 944n/a. Yes, I done it myself, I got me a haynes manual and took my time. I installed a Sachs Complete clutch Kit.

I just relocated to MD from NC and the MD state inspection is tough. My car, a 1990 944 S2 Cab, passed the complete inspection except for the rear plastic window which they say is to foggy. Of course, the inspector says I need to replace the top. YIKES!!!!That's a lot of cash.

My 1983 944 has red lights across the entire rear and the license holder on the bumper. On ebay I see many 1983 944 with the red lights not across the entire back but in 2 sections with a place for the licence plate between them. Can anyone explain this difference?
