when i start it up, it runs a tad rough and has a bit of a vibration (which
i still havent fixed). but when i hit the gas, it shoots out a blue colored
smoke. i read my book i have (haynes i believe), and it showed all the

First I wanted to thank the people who helped with my last problem (no heat

I just purchased my first Porsche, a 1987 944, (I haven't stopped smiling
yet!) and it need the engine mounts replaced.  There is a huge difference
in prices between OEM and aftermarket engine mounts.  Is this a classic
case of "you get what you pay for" or are the aftermarket ...

My blinkers in my 83 porsche 944 come in solid form when key is all
the way back and no dash indicator light when the key is foward there
is no blinkers outside at all and the dash indicator stays lit solid
relay is good and I dont know were to look for grounds, hazards work

I just changed the rear bearings.  I followed the procedure from "Clarks
Garage" but it was pretty general.  As many things that you do for the first
time they was a few problems.  I now though would consider myself a pro at

My electric windows have slowly degraded to the point where neither work.

started with the passenger window being intermittent, then the driver's

Searching for a water leak in the (usual) passenger floorboard,
we have sprayed water in every place imaginable including the
battery compartment, and making sure that the battery tray had
the proper drainage tube and was functional, etc., etc. Still cannot

So I get a new coil---- last night I had changed the pressure damper--- got
new plugs and now at least it will start to run then seems to flood--- the
exhaust smell of gas----Haven't yet gone to the book--- we'll
see---frustrating---

I am a brand new owner of a 1984 944
the car had been sitting for 9 months but it started and ran no problem and
made the eleven hour jurney home.

1990 944S2. When the water temperature gets high enough that the fan
kicks in, the fan runs and temperature drops. When the temperature is

ever since I replaced my upper radiator hose its been gradualy
overheating at idle, and sometimes while driving (it plays back and
forth from half to a little line away from overheating) But the guage

Im having a major air blower problem. I checked the blower relay and
bench tested it was bad so I replaced it end of problems right, thats
what I thought till I turned the key foward the blower is on all the
time, (turning the switch all the way to the left the blower is still

I was just wonderin how much (if I wanted to sell it) my 83 porsche
944 na with 100,000 miles is worth, I bought it for 2500 and dumped
alot into it (Bout 1000), im 17 and this is my third car, (previous to
this I had a 86 then a 88 mustang) i dont think I can afford parts for
