Will the autothority chip fit for a 1991 euro 944S2? Will the chip
improve the perfromance of a euro S2 as much as it improves a US S2
(+16 hp)?

I`m in the middle of doing my clutch. I unfortunately dont have the
bucks for a new pressure plate but i have got a new release bearing
assembly to install. Has anyone removed/replaced a release bearing
before. ??? How do you get the old one out.

I would like to get more power out of my 1991 944 S2. What are some
quick and easy options for doing this? Is replacing the stock air mass
meter to a turbo one (allowing more gas in the mix) a good idea? Or
performance chip? Would these modification affect the reliability of

ok here is the deal i just blew the timing belts on my 1985.5 944. i got
all the new gaskets and all of them were intsalled correctly i made very
sure of this. my baby got a brand new water punp along with the deal as
well. also i got all new valves and a head job done.the thing is ...

well, i thought changing the thermo switch would fix it. it did,
temporarily. but now, the relay is sticking. i know it's the relay, cause
when i tap on it, the fan shuts off. so, that being said... anyone know
where i can get a new relay, and about how much it will cost? thanks.

Im installing a remote entry and here are my choices
1) The vehicle is equipped Central lock with only lock/unlock switch
instead of a motor inside the driver's door.

seems wrong, changed air flow sensor a while back (got one from wrecking
yard, alledgedly low mileage) because car had deadbands at various throttle

Looking for a muffler for a 944S - found a good price on a unit that the
seller says "fits all 944, but not manual transmissions" - are the mufflers
for automatics really that different?  (anyone have a good condition stock
944S muffler?)

hi i need to buy rear tires for my 944. i have BF goodrich comp. TA's on
front with lots of rubber. need some suggestions for rear tires or should

i have a silly question.
i'm 'new' to cars.
since the engine of a porsche is located in the rear of the car...do you
feel the 'thrust' from behind when you accelerate - kind of like the thrust

service (timing belt, water pump, thermostat, etc..). When I got the car,
it had the "milkshake" effect in the oil, so I did the oil cooler seal and

On a 86 944 does the radiator drop from the bottom or can you pull it
from the top??

hi i have a 85 late model 944 and can anyone tell me if ball joints can be
replaced and if so can a back yard mach. do it and how?
