Steering rack25 Jul 2005 21:33 GMT2
Ok so my '86 lux has finally reached that age when the power steering is

just curious - air flow sensor20 Jul 2005 06:13 GMT4
well, I just fixed a rough running problem on my daughter's 944S - wear on
the carbon track of the air flow sensor - I gotta believe this is a pretty
common problem, and replacement sensors are a bunch of hundreds of $$ - so,
it seems to me that a better solution is needed - a ...
heater control lever16 Jul 2005 19:54 GMT1
The heater control lever (top right) broke off (my fault) on my early
85' 944. This is not really a problem now since it's summer, but when
winter comes, I will be kicking myself. Can the lever itself just be
replaced, or do I need to replace the whole panel with the other two
Stripped / cross-threaded spark plug hole.15 Jul 2005 03:30 GMT7
So after replacing the valve cover gaskets, I have found
yet another bad thing the previous owner did.  It appears that
the number 1 spark plug hole is either stripped or
cross-threaded.  When I put in the spark plug, it hits
