944 Turbo rear valance23 Oct 2005 23:40 GMT11
Does anybody know a UK source for a 944 Turbo rear valance? Crumped it badly
on my own anti ram-raid bollard outside my workshop earlier this evening and
I'd rather not claim on the insurance, given that it doesn't look too hard
to replace on a DIY basis. TIA.
Transmission oil 88 NA22 Oct 2005 07:37 GMT2
I have a 944 na and my mechanic suggested that I change the transmission oil to a synthetic.  Good/Bad advice?  108000 miles  slight synchro clash going into second when cold.  If so what oil would be suggested?

Reason I'm asking is because I think I got ripped off on eBay for about
$23 on parts.
I think this is a small time dismantling company selling parts on eBay

Thanks!

Head stud removal 951. YES or NO11 Oct 2005 15:56 GMT2
I am currently replacing my headgasket on my 951 and have the age old
question: Head studs, to replace or not to replace. I have so far had one
shop say yes, and another say no, so I am at a loss. The next question is
trying to get the f*&^ers out. I have tried one, just to see if ...
