Could some one please tell me where the starter motor is situated as I don't have a manual! I'm having problems starting the car - it's as though the starter motor is seized. I am open to suggestions as I am not a mechanic of any description. Much obliged - Ba

Looking for a cheap 944 engine in good condition.
I have an early 85 but I dont think that makes much differance.

SOS - please help my 1988 944s that has never missed a beat since i bought
it two years ago wont start , the engine cranks but wont fire , i had an
alarm/immobilizer guy (not auto electrician) look at it and he confirmed
that my problem was nothing to do with the aftermarket ...

The fresh air blower on my late '85 model 944 Lux is playing up.
It comes on initially, but after a few seconds just cuts out. The fuse is
fine. Any ideas what the cause of this problem is, please?

I have a problem with my 87 944 N/A,its about when im driving and im on 3rd
gear and hiting 5000 rpm and the same thing on 4th at 4000 and 5th at
3000(around), the car is like chocking or something it feels like doesnt
get enough gas or something .  

I have a 1986 944, 2.5 which, long story short... the engine is
