I'm a 944 (84) owner. For the last 6 years I have used it for daily driving and only changed the oil on the given intervals. I would say that it is a quality car. I added 80.000 km to it and 6 years without any breakdown!

Can anyone recommend an aftermarket muffler that will "enhance" that great exhaust sound of my 1989 944 S2? I am looking for something that will still be relatively quiet inside the car but bring out that raspy note that starts around 4500 RPM. You know, that sports car sound :)

I have a 85.5 NA manual 944. Somewhere along the life span of my little toy, someone replaced the electrical system with one from an 88 or 89 vehicle (based on the fuse box) along with adding MSD ignition. They MAY have also replaced the chip, I suppose I could verify that by

1986 n/a 944 OK, I did a bit of research - I know you can reach the bulb for the LCD dash clock by removing the glove box liner. And I know I can replace the bulb using an LED with a mini-flange base
