| 944 won't start | 29 Jun 2006 05:50 GMT | 11 |
I have an 86 944. I just died on me one day, and now I can't start it. When it does start it runs fine, and I've checked just about everything. The battery is good, and so is the rest of the electrical system. The fuel system is fine, and the dme is in good working order.

| 944 Turbo Stalling | 27 Jun 2006 21:27 GMT | 2 |
All: My 1987 944 Turbo was stalling intermittently, so I replaced the DME relay (P/N 993...), which seems to be the most common solution to this problem. This appeared to correct the problem for a month or so, but the engine

| Cylinder compression values | 21 Jun 2006 05:54 GMT | 1 |
I encouraged my 15 year old son to get a good project car in order to learn auto mechanics. He found a really great 1984 944 with 90k miles and has been doing minor repairs so far. School is out and we've started figuring out what major work is needed. We know of some pretty

just got back from a training class in Florida. I drove the 944 and left it at the office when I went to the airport instead of my company car. When I got back into town, it was about 85-90 degrees out and I did get stuck in some traffic. I noticed my volt gauge was tending ...

Whoever owned my 924 before I fancied themselves a bit of an electrical engineer, andmanaged to really hack up the car. The car had AC in it at one time (I am unsure if it was factory installed or an add on). This was removed prior to the person I purchased it from (or so they ...

The interior lights on my '85 oval-dash 944 Lux have suddenly developed a problem. Despite checking out both the lamp units, and replacing both courtesy light switches on the doors, the lamps now only go dim, not out completely. I could hear a relay clicking so swapped that with ...

I just think that everyone should just start using rennlist or the pelican parts forum. I mean no offense but there is like 1 new thread every 2 days? Thats pathetic. With pelican parts you get replys within like 10 minutes after you posted.
