One Headlight, Already Replaced Bulb29 Sep 2006 04:48 GMT1
The headlight on my '99 Boxster is still out although I just put in a
new bulb.  The highbeams and halogen lights work on both sides, it is
just my regular beam on one side.  I am sure the new bulb is in
correctly.  Could this be a blown fuse?  Does anyone have any ideas?
'84 944 Electrical Problem - New Clue?19 Sep 2006 17:10 GMT28
I'm still trying to hunt down a short somewhere in my '84 944 that
causes the battery to go dead in a matter of a few days if I don't
disconnect it.  Based on advice from a previous post I've already
hooked up my meter and tried disconnecting all the fuses one by one in
'86 944T - Runs at idle speed only when cold?11 Sep 2006 15:19 GMT6
I've got a 1986 944 turbo.  I love it, and it's in great
shape, however, it's picked up a problem I'm not familiar
with.  In the morning, I start it and it seems to run great.
I back out OK and turn down the downhill driveway and
'86 944 hood - source for the gas springs11 Sep 2006 15:11 GMT6
I know it's a common problem, but the gas springs that hold
up the hood on my '86 944T are dead.  Can I get them
refilled or is there a reasonable cost replacement.  Can
anyone steer me to a good, not too expensive, source?
checking resistance on ignition coil '87 944 n.a.11 Sep 2006 04:02 GMT5
'87 944 n.a: i checked my Bosch ignition coil resistance b/t pin 1 and
15 and its 0.8 Ohm.  Haynes says it should be 0.4 to 0.6.  i'm
presuming its "close enough" while i continue on, which is where i'm
confused.  "terminal" 4 SHOULD be underneath the rubber plug - i see
High reading on temp gauge10 Sep 2006 06:18 GMT6
On my '87 944, I notice that the temp gauge is not in the middle where I
think it should be.  It's not in the red while driving, but it looks too
close for my comfort.  I don't have any engine overheating, but I'm leary of
driving it like this.  I know I should take it in the ...
944 no start when hot09 Sep 2006 21:34 GMT18
I have a 8 month old FPR with correct BOSH-#, could the fuel pump cause
the fuel pressure to still be too high, since it's not an original part
as far as I figured out?
This is the case: When engine is cold I have no problem starting the
1984 944 will not start01 Sep 2006 15:23 GMT25
A week ago i changed the battery out.  It ran that day and the next.
The following day it did not start.  it seems to want to start, for
about a second it runs and then dies.  The longer I wait to start it
again the longer it runs, i think 2 seconds is the longest so far.  It
