The LCD clock display in the dash of my '86 944T is bad. I can only see the upper right corner of the clock - other than that it probably works, but it's unreadable. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm willing to replace it with

I am now looking at my clock illumination. How does the bulb holder remove? Is it a twist and pull? It seems very stiff and I do not wish to damage it. Is the bulb 12v ? The voltage across my bulb holder is 3v!

944 1987 I have removed the instrument panel and I think located the bulb holders, three of them.. But how do I remove the holders from the panel to get at the bulbs?
