Have option to buy a 1985 944 in very good condition for about $4000. One
set of mechanics (both work on the cars) tell me it's too early a model ,
unreliable and to stay away; the others say it's the same car as my 1987

I really need some help. Pulled in the driveway one day and the clutch pedal
went all the way to the floor - have since, replaced clutch Master as well as
Slave, tried to bleed and STILL am unable to build any pressure. Please

I just picked up a really nice 944.  It is a 1987 model with ABS.  I have
the on dash antilock indicator on all the time and it wont pass inspection
like that.  I have had the ABS computer replaced with no change.  What else
can I try to fix this problem?  Are there sensors on ...

I have a coustomer with an '87 944 with a trashed head (broken
timing belt) and an engine out of an 88 944s with a cracked block
(thrown rod). I was wondering if it was possible to graft the 16v head
onto the 8v block.  Or are the watter passages or crank diffrent?
