I have a 1987 944 NA with 160K miles on it. Compression ranges from
135 PSI to 150 PSI. Oil has been changed within 400 miles (3,000
intervals). It has not been losing oil or coolant. While cruising at
70 mph the heater hose let go. I don't believe that the hose was the
944 LUX   1987 oil pressure relief valve29 Oct 2008 05:37 GMT6
My oil pressure relief valve seems to be leaking oil.
I have ordered a new sealing washer and o rings.
Is this a common fault? Is there any problem with the removal and refitting.
A new complete valve seem very expensive.
