Found a 65 911 the owner says was owned by Ferry Porsche.  If this is
documentable, what does this do to the value of the car?

What are the pros and cons?

vehicles.
Of course, there are several companies out there who make them, but two or
three seem to dominate.
Porsche as commuter car?20 Apr 2004 20:39 GMT3
Has anyone ever used their Porsche as a commuter car?  I am currently
residing in Germany and I drive about 100KM one way and have been looking at
some 911's.  I understand the servicing is outrageous so I would really not
want to tax the car as much as the one I have now (94 MBenz ...

What is wrong with longer wearing tires for highway use?18 Apr 2004 15:20 GMT10
I just bought a used 2000 Boxter and it needs new tires. I favor Michelin

Pilot SX. The Pilot Sport is not much better at 220. For strictly highway
use in the USA what is wrong with the Pilot Sport A/S (all ...

Boxter S is it worth the money? - advice please -can you re-sell?16 Apr 2004 21:15 GMT15
I've been thinking of grabbing one of the Boxters S's for a while now
- for under £40,000 they sound like a steal with that sort of
performance.
The depreciation sounds ridiculous at less than 10% over 3 years -
89 928 dash lights only light up with headlights off14 Apr 2004 14:39 GMT2
Hi , I just got a car in the other day with a strange problem.  It's a 1989
928 and the dash lights only come on with the key on and head lights off. I
figured that before I tear the thing apart I would see if anyone else out
there had ever heard of such a thing.
