| Advice on 993 v. 996 or 997 | 24 Feb 2005 23:40 GMT | 11 |
I have a nice 1997 993 cab with 50K miles. Only put 3-4K miles a year on the car, but I've got the get-a-new-car bug lately. Thinking about getting a more recent model, possibly a 2002-2004 996. Also considering waiting until next year to aim for the 997 cabs. I can afford ...

| 911 Ease of Supercharging or Turbo Charging | 18 Feb 2005 20:08 GMT | 5 |
I am considering the purchase of a last 70s early 80s Porshe with the idea of modifying it to suite. Perhaps put a slan nose kit on etc... I have some experience with expensive cars having a Jaguar XJS for many years of which I have been reasonably pleased and is my daily driver.

| Why was the 968 short lived? | 17 Feb 2005 23:41 GMT | 23 |
I cannot understand why the 968 did not have the same production period like the 944 had. Did Porsche stop production to make way for the Boxster? I'm probably going to regret saying this, but I feel Porsche should have continued producing the 968 instead of the Boxster...

| 928 v. 996? | 01 Feb 2005 18:45 GMT | 5 |
I'm considering going down to two cars, a luxury sedan and a Porsche. Now, I rarely need to haul passengers, which is how I've gotten by with 3 Porsches for so long, so I could get some older people carrier like a used 5-series/E-class and get a 996, or a nicer,
