Advice on 993 v.  996 or 99724 Feb 2005 23:40 GMT11
I have a nice 1997 993 cab with 50K miles.  Only put 3-4K miles a year on
the car, but I've got the get-a-new-car bug lately.  Thinking about getting
a more recent model, possibly a 2002-2004 996.  Also considering waiting
until next year to aim for the 997 cabs.  I can afford ...
997 Alignment from Factory23 Feb 2005 21:21 GMT5
I bought a new 997 Carrera S and someone who is a trusted source told
me the 997?s are arriving with incorrect alignments right from the
Porsche factory.
Has anyone heard of this?
is the cayenne s the best car ever built?23 Feb 2005 21:11 GMT37
I say yes!!! i have had mine for a month and think it combines a
sports car and suv.. my other cars are 5 series bmw and acura mdx
the cayenne has somehow merged these two cars into the most thrilling
and practical ever built, and to think its almost 100% tax deductible
Porsche 944 front wing removal19 Feb 2005 21:37 GMT1
I am currently restoring my 944 which I damaged in a 'bump' and I am trying
to remove the front off-side wing (fender for you Americans)). I have
removed all the bolts located along the top edge and I've also separated it
from the front skirt. However, when I tried to actually ...
911 Ease of Supercharging or Turbo Charging18 Feb 2005 20:08 GMT5
I am considering the purchase of a last 70s early 80s Porshe with the idea
of modifying it to suite.  Perhaps put a slan nose kit on etc...
I have some experience with expensive cars having a Jaguar XJS for many
years of which I have been reasonably pleased and is my daily driver.
Why was the 968 short lived?17 Feb 2005 23:41 GMT23
I cannot understand why the 968 did not have the same production period
like the 944 had. Did Porsche stop production to make way for the
Boxster? I'm probably going to regret saying this, but I feel Porsche
should have continued producing the 968 instead of the Boxster...

New Boxster Price Paid Questions13 Feb 2005 18:17 GMT1

944 TUNING12 Feb 2005 19:48 GMT4
Sorry it's me again ,
I forgot my main question :
What are the best mods that can basically be made to an early 944 in terms
of power ?
Porsche 944 radiator help09 Feb 2005 19:24 GMT2
HI, I have 1984 Porsche 944, but it has some strange problems. You
have to unplug the radiator when you are not driving the car, or else
it keeps running. If I keep it on the battery dies, I need help with
this. I assume its electrical but I dont know anything about cars.
Trying to find a Boxster S Tiptronic06 Feb 2005 01:37 GMT4
A rare car compared to the 6-speeds. But still I'm looking for a silver
or grey with some options (PSM, OBC, Litronics, upgraded stereo the
important ones).
I'm in VA but willing to travel for the right car at the right price.

MSRP VS. Invoice 2005 Boxster02 Feb 2005 11:57 GMT7
I was wondering if anyone has any input of buying a new 2005 Porsche
Boxster. My primary questions would be
1) anyone know if any dealers out there are coming off MSRP on this
vehilcle. I realize that anything even remotely near invoice is near
928 v. 996?01 Feb 2005 18:45 GMT5
I'm considering going down to two cars, a luxury sedan and a
Porsche. Now, I rarely need to haul passengers, which is how I've
gotten by with 3 Porsches for so long, so I could get some older
people carrier like a used 5-series/E-class and get a 996, or a nicer,
