i have a silly question.
i'm 'new' to cars.
since the engine of a porsche is located in the rear of the car...do you
feel the 'thrust' from behind when you accelerate - kind of like the thrust

Have recently bought 996 2001 coupe. Its great apart from sea
comfort! Am 5 feet 7 inches, getting really bad ache in lower bac
despite varying seat height, back rest angle etc. Any tips? Can yo
alter the height of the front of the seat rather than just the back

I recently came into a 1988 porsche 924 S with sound mechanical conditions
but ratty interior.  Seats cut with Box knife, back seat gone, sunroof
pannel gone, rear headline gone, center console gone, etc...

schematics for the convertible top of a 2002 boxster.  The top stopped
working.  I know that the fuse is good and the hand brake switch is
also good.  There has to be some other sensors that won't let the top

There's a sub-site up through Porsche North America's website for the
new Cayman model, which isn;t really all that new. It is, however, the
model that's been rumoured and written about since 1997....it's really
a Boxster coupe. No word yet on any power specs, although I'd assume

Hi, I'm flying into Dublin in late May for a two week vacation.

Back when life was simple there was the 356, 911 and 914. Now I see
references to 993, 996, 997 and 99this or 99that.
