Well, I was a little too anxious to take the 911 out of storage because we had a couple of sunny days in Chicago. Unfortunately there is still far too much salt on the roads and of course it kicked up on the bra and especially on the rear bumper aft of the wheels.

Noise issue: Interested in the Cayman S but concerned that the engine noise will become annoying, particularly on longer rides. Any Cayman S owners care to comment?

2001 Boxster S. The two tires are: 1) Dunlop SP Sport Maxx 2) Michelin Pilot Sport Rib I'm leaning towards the Dunlop (based on literature not real world data).

Any "excitement" ahead for me when trying to get a smog certificate in California on an otherwise good-condition, low-mileage, 100% stock 1982 911 SC coming from Florida. The car has spent it's entire previous existence in Florida and has no prior problems with passing smog tests

Porsche finished 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and a few other spots in the GT class at this year's Rolex at Daytona. The top Porsche in GT was also 9th overall. The top Porsche powered entry in DP was 3rd.

i don't follow porsche, or any sport car co. for that matter closely but why doesn't porsche's website display any 911 turbo's? they only display carrera's. is the 911 turbo no longer in production, or something?
