I'm an Aussie hooking up with a mate from Thailand in May for our 50th birthdays & associated mid-life crisis. We want to buy a Porsche & drive it across America, then ship it to Singapore & drive it up to the top of Thailand.

lotus elise is one of the best handling cars. lightest sports car (under a ton) vs porsche 3000lbs+. costs only 40k. mid-rear engine.

each car...i think, has their Own Best color. example: Ferrari's look Best with the hot red, and tan interior - any other color is very iffy.

Hi I have a '02 Boxster and love it. Except that the plastic rear window pinched when I shut it. Which means I feel obliged to get out and push it down early in theo closure, totally defeating the purpose of an in-car top putter-downer. Does anyone know of a way to 'train'

A guy at work claims that Porsche uses the Subaru Boxer engine as a replacement engine on the Boxster. Is there any truth to that ? I find it hard to believe and could not verify it using Google.
