Boxster Plastic Window Dilemma25 Apr 2006 14:56 GMT12
I have a 2002 Boxster, and of course, the rear window is cracked.  Only
a tiny crack on the "pinch point," but it is a real bummer to wash the
car now, and with Florida's torrential downpours of summer coming, I
need to remedy the situation.
More 1978 924 questions (Electrical)23 Apr 2006 23:03 GMT3
Well, while installing my master cylinder, I discovered the brake pressure
sensors had oxidized to their connectors, causing the rear one to
disintegrate as I unplugged it.  So, as I wait for the new sensors to
arrive, I tore into the center instrument panel.
Bought my first Porsche19 Apr 2006 03:45 GMT9
Well, I fell into what I thought was a deal, probably not, but I am happy.
It
is a 1978 924 with 69,000 (miles) on the clock.  New brakes, tires, brake
lines, fuel line, and most body panels cleaned and painted (the doors, hood
OEM Porsche parts catalogs for sale16 Apr 2006 21:46 GMT3
I have the OEM CD ROM based Porsche catalog that the dealership uses.
It covers all US market and RoW (German market) models from the 356 to
the 2004 models. Same thing the dealer is using.
Drop me a line with any interest. Thanks,
Defective Rear Windows in the Cayenne15 Apr 2006 02:22 GMT1
I recently purchased a 2006 Porsche Cayenne.  Twice in the last six
weeks that rear window spontaneusly cracked after using the rear
defroster.
The folks at Porche claim that this is not a common occurrance and have

Boxster radio / satellite / gps05 Apr 2006 18:44 GMT6
I have a 2002 Boxster, and I hate very little about it.
But, I hate the cupholder unit (above the radio, how dumb is that?).
I'm wishing that I had a more updated radio - with Sirius, or at least
a jack for an mp3 player.  GPS would be nice too...
which year in the 1970s did the 911 turbo come out - is it the same as the 935?05 Apr 2006 05:47 GMT5
In the 1970's they came out with a 911 turbo with a whale tail and wide rear
wheel wells.  It was the sexiest car I have ever seen in my life - AND TO
THIS DAY!
Is that the same car as the 930/935 or were they different?
A great invention to transmit the right message to Tailgaters !04 Apr 2006 12:59 GMT5
A great idea to transmit the right message to tailgaters. I wished this
useful invention would came with every car. It's positively funny
anyways.
